new systems copy and print at 60/70/80 and now 90-ppm, respectively. They
replace the Aficio MP 6000/MP 7000/MP 8000 and are designed to support the
document workflow and productivity needs of today's networked office
environments. With the addition of the new faster 90-ppm Aficio MP 9001,
these devices also fit well in lower volume Central Reproduction Department
(CRD) and Print for Pay environments.

addition in Ricoh's formidable mid-high volume line-up, providing seamless
integration of copying, printing, faxing and scanning with document

Avoid the 6001 series! We've had nothing but problems with those for 3 weeks since they arrive.
I have been in business for 30 yrs and have only had canon products. I switched earlier this year and I just purcahsed the Ricoh 6001, 8001 and a 9001. These machines are nothing but work-horses. They are great and the prints are top notch.
I have used 2 previous versions of Aficio series the 650 and 6500. They are work-horses. Image quality isn't something rave about but they get the job done without breaking down. I put over a million impressions on them annually.
